Las Vegas groups/events?

Postby Top T » Nov 09, 2009 3:08 pm

My younger cousin is starting to get into airsoft, and I'm trying to help him find a decent group or field to go to. He lives in Henderson, but are there any groups/fields in the Vegas area?

Being a Reno resident, I'm nearly blind to Las Vegas events, but a good place to start is by contacting the "Aces and Eights"

Yes there are several teams in Las Vegas. We usually all get together every couple of weeks out at Apex which you can find the location under the places. (NOTE: Hollywood field closed down in 2007 and the Rangers will Fine and confiscate equipment) I'm not aware why we do not put our events on here but seeing how I'm not the game organizer I do not feel comfortable disclosing that information, sorry. We do all post our events on our LV forum website and I would be more then willing to give the link and long as the Admin will allow.

I always try to provide as much event information as I can when I find them - usually I get busy and don't have time to track the info down and relay them on this site.

Feel free to link to any airsoft event you want, regardless of its location or original posting.

Make sure you read the new comer topic before attempting to register it will inform you that you must put airsoft as your interest.

This weekends game is taking place at Apex field on Sunday (March 14th) at 9:30 which means intel will be given at 9. Since this is not am official LVA game I believe anyone under 18 is allowed with parent supervision (This can be changed at anytime by game coordinator for any reason in most cases only due to safety or parents dumping there kids and leaving) and must wear full face protection, anyone over 18 can wear any airsoft rated glasses or goggles, and 1 high cap or as many low/mid caps as you like. AEG FPS limit is 365 (limit not a target FPS) with .25 airsoft elites (so roughly 420 with .20) but any BBs can be used for play, and target must be further then 10' . Spring action sniper rifles FPS limit is 500 and must be further then 100' of target (snipers are a privileged not a right). All these rules and more will be discussed during intel just trying to keep you from wasting your time if your guns to powerful, ect.

I was just accepted to that site today and registered a few weeks ago.

I'm hoping I can find some events to attend here in the near future as I'm new to airsoft (although I've had airsoft guns for years, and have played paintball for a decade) and Las Vegas in general.
